Patti Kilroy

Originally from Homestead, Florida, violinist Patti Kilroy is interested in a wide array of musical styles. Equally at home in alternative, classical, folk and the musical theater worlds, Patti is an active member of various ensembles in the New York City area including the Knights, One World Symphony, This Ambitious Orchestra, The New York Chamber Virtuosi, rock guitarist Dan Teicher’s Vices and Vines String Quartet and the NFO. Patti recently played in Natalie Weiss’s acclaimed International Fringe Festival musical Camp Wanatachi and Dylan Glatthorn’s musical Republic. She is a frequent session musician, having recorded and premiered music by contemporary composers, especially members of the New York Times acclaimed Circles and Lines composers’ collective: Noam Faingold, Conrad Winslow, Angelica Negron, Eric Lemmon and Dylan Glatthorn.

Her musical adventures have taken her to many festivals and workshops throughout the world, including the EEFC Balkan Music and Dance Workshops, the NYU Intensive String Quartet Workshop, Jazz Peru Internacional and even to the silent film orchestra at the Tribeca Film Festival. Patti currently studies with Naoko Tanaka (Orchestra of St. Luke’s, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra), and has also studied with Anton Miller and Guangshu Song.
