The Juventas new music ensemble will perform a cello/double bass arrangement of my double bass duet “Tango Variations” at a concert at Seully Hall at the Boston Conservatory. Other composers include Andres Carrizo, Nicolas Tzortzis, Brian Mark, William Zuckerman, Phivos Kollias, Peter Lane and Juraj Kojs. This series is titled “Exquisite Corpse” and will feature choreography by dancers from The Boston Conservatory’s Dance Division.

My composer’s collective Circles and Lines will have our annual September concert at Le Poisson Rouge. Justyna Jara and Susanna Mendlow will play my violin/cello duet again, after a knockout performance at the Bowdoin International Music Festival’s Gamper Festival for Contemporary Music in Brunswick, Maine this summer. This concert will also include music by C and L composers Angelica Negron, Conrad Winslow, Eric Lemmon and Dylan Glatthorn.

This concert features special guest composers Lucia Caruso and Pedro Da Silva, as well as guest ensemble The Manhattan Camerata chamber orchestra.

Doors open at 6:30 and the concert is at 7:30.

My composer’s collective Circles and Lines will have a free concert in Washington Square Park in the heart of Greenwich Village, NYC at 7 pm. Matthew Rosenthal and Matt Weber will perform my double bass duet “Tango Variations”, along with music by Angelica Negron, Conrad Winslow, Eric Lemmon and Dylan Glatthorn.

If you missed the premiere of my new quintet written for the Transit new music ensemble, you can catch it again at the Circles and Lines May 2nd show. The concert also includes performances by the Iktus Percussion quartet, members of the NFO and others at NYC’s Le Poisson Rouge. The concert will also feature works by  the collective’s other composers Angelica Negron, Conrad Winslow, Eric Lemmon and Dylan Glatthorn.

The rock orchestra will be playing at Cafe Orwell alongside Sxip Shirey (Luniscent Orchestrii) and Louise Eckhardt in a show bound to be full of intimate gypsy-middle-eastern-pop-folk orchestral fury. This show is curate by Valerie Kuehne.
