We will be returning for our third year to play a short acoustic set at New York’s Lower East Side Festival! This is an annual celebration of performing arts, music and drama at the Theater for the New City on 2nd Avenue, between 8th and 9th street. Stay posted for exact performance times.

Lester Lynch, Adam Diegel and others will perform my arrangements of Catalani’s “Ebben” and Act II, scene V from Verdi’s opera “Otellio,” for voice and large chamber ensemble, at Zimbabwe’s HIFA arts and music festival.

Members of the Park Quartet will perform my violin/cello duet “A Knife in the Water” at a concert at King’s College London. The concert also features pieces by Mischa Tangian, Daniel Moreira, James Andrewes, and Natasha Senanayake.

NYC-based new music,  broadway and Burning City Orchestra double bassist Pat Swoboda will perform my solo double bass piece “A Hymn to Romance” at his Master’s recital at New York University’s Steinhardt School. Other works TBA. Admission is free.

The Cadillac Moon Ensemble will once again perform my violin/cello duet “A Knife in the Water” at a collaborative concert with my composer’s collective Circles and Lines. This concert is supported by the MetLife Creative Connections Grant as a part of Circles and Lines and Cadillac Moon’s spring collaboration series, featuring multiple radio interviews, open rehearsals and culminating with this concert.

Tickets are $15 at the door, $10 for students.

The London based Kallisto Quartet will perform my string quartet “Sunrise,” along with works by Schubert, Szymanowski and Mendellsohn at the ProQuartet Chamber Music Society in just outside Paris.

Tickets range from 12-25 Euros.

Come hear the first performance of the UK branch of the Burning City Orchestra. We will be playing a bunch of our songs from the upcoming album (hear a preview here) with a string quartet and piano. The show also includes a set by singer/songwriter/violinst Stay_Weak.

I will be co-curating a month long residency of musical and artistic projects in collaboration with guitar-composer and photographer Michael Dylan Ferrara and violinst/composer/songwriter Eugene Feygelson. During this month we will all play concerts of our music in collaboration with other ensembles (TBA) ending in an exploratory, multi-day music and performance festival with many interesting guest artists and musicians.

The Guestprojects space is located along Regents Canal in London.

My string quintet “Everything is Amazing and Nobody’s Happy” – Louis CK, commissioned by violinist Dennis Kim will be performed by Ki and other Atlantic Music Festival faculty on their last thursday night salon concert.

My new quintet “Everything is Amazing and Nobody’s Happy” – Louis CK will be perfomed  on the opening night of the three-day long Gamper Festival of Contemporary music, a new music festival at the Bowdoin International Music Festival. The concert also features pieces by Gubaidulina, Jacob Druckman, Toru Takemitsu and others.The concert takes place in Studzinski recital hall on the Bowdoin College campus.

Tickets are $10 at the door.
