hey nightowls,

I will be playing a set of acoustic versions of my rock orchestra set, opening for NFO indie folk friends The Relatives (NYC) on their Tulsa stop of their national tour to celebrate the release of their record.

This concert will be at Tulsa’s coolest bar, the Soundpony. 409 N Main St Tulsa, OK 74103, next door to the historic Cain’s Ballroom.

This concert is free, but is 21+.

NFO at Lower East Side Festival, NYC

My rock orchestra will be returning to the LES festival to play a very short 2 song showcase, among a TON of different performing artists all night long. Festival goes from 6-10. We play at 6:32 sharp! Don’t be late because you might miss it!

This concert is free!

Johnson Theater at the Theater for the New City. 155 First Avenue (between 9th and 10th Streets) in Manhattan NYC.

new piece for DETOUR ensemble – NYC

The Detour ensemble will play a new song of mine, as well as those by Brian Mark, Joe Rubenstein, Cynthia Lee Wong, Ben Brody, Seth Bedford, Jeremy Howard Beck and others. All the songs written for this concert feature facebook themed lyrics and librettos.

This concert will take place at the Gershwin Hotel in New York City. Tickets are $10.

Salzburg Seminar:

I will be participating in the Salzburg Seminar, “The Transformative Power of Music” with several other composers, conductors, performers and musicians discussing the music and its ability to shape culture. The seminar will take place at Schloss Leopoldskron, in Salzburg, Austria. I will be attending on an Edward T. Cone fellowship.

Circles and Lines at Vaudeville Park

Th Vaudeville Park gallery has invited my composer’s collective Circles and lines to curate a concert featuring our music.

The program will include cellist Mike Midlarsky performing my “Etiquette” for solo cello, Meray Boustani performing my “Berlin Songs,” and also the music of my fellow composers Angelica Negron, Conrad Winslow, Eric Lemmon and Dylan Glatthorn.

Show begins at 7:00 pm, doors open at 6:30. $10 admission.

premiere of new quintet at Galapagos art space in NYC

My new quintet “Mitosis” for French horn, piano, violin, viola and cello will be performed at the DETOUR collective’s concert, featuring their chamber ensemble.

This concert will also feature works by composers Brian Mark, Jeremy Howard Beck, Tom Swafford, Ben Brody, Theodore Hine, Jeffrey Parola and Seth Bedford.

This concert will take place on Friday January 21st at 8 p.m. Galapagos art space. Tickets are $10.

Noam Faingold Orchestra and The Relatives, live at the Tank NYC

The NFO will be performing a (mostly) acoustic show at the NYC art space The Tank. Our folky pop friends The Relatives will also be playing also. Join us for the premieres of some new songs and re-arrangements of others. In this show we also welcome badass cellist Mike Midlarsky of the Tarab cello octet to the NFO.

Show starts at 9:30.

Tickets are $10 at the door.

The Tank is located at 354 West 45th Street (between 8th and 9th avenues)
