NYC – New York University – lecture/workshop on pop strings performance

[ February 22, 2012; 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm. ] I will be the guest at the NYU weekly undergraduate strings seminar. I will give an interactive workshop/masterclass on performing orchestral pop music, and adapting chamber music techniques and ideas to a pop context.

NYC – violin/cello duet – Cadillac Moon Ensemble

[ February 17, 2012; 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. ] Violinist Patti Kilroy and cellist Mike Midlarsky (both of whom play in my rock orchestra) will play my violin cello duet “A Knife in the Water” at Greenwhich House in the West Village in Manhattan NYC. London – premiere of a new work for solo piano

[ March 20, 2012; 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. ] This concert will feature a new work for solo piano, written for London pianist Mary Dullea of the London-based Fidelio Trio. It will also feature several other premiers TBA.
