If you missed the premiere of my new quintet written for the Transit new music ensemble, you can catch it again at the Circles and Lines May 2nd show. The concert also includes performances by the Iktus Percussion quartet, members of the NFO and others at NYC’s Le Poisson Rouge. The concert will also feature works by  the collective’s other composers Angelica Negron, Conrad Winslow, Eric Lemmon and Dylan Glatthorn.

Noam Faingold Orchestra at Cafe Orwell in Brooklyn

The rock orchestra will be playing at Cafe Orwell alongside Sxip Shirey (Luniscent Orchestrii) and Louise Eckhardt in a show bound to be full of intimate gypsy-middle-eastern-pop-folk orchestral fury. This show is curate by Valerie Kuehne.

Premiere of my new piece for the Transit new music ensemble for their “NYC vs. Argentina” concert! And i’m co-curating this with Transit resident composer Daniel Wohl. This concert will also feature music by Argentinean composers Pablo Ortiz, Matias Hancke de Los Fuentes and Laura Andel, and NYC composers Daniel Wohl and Jason Cady.

Etiquette for solo cello and exhibit of my music – Bronfman Center Art Exhibit Opening (NYC)

NFO cellist Leat Sabbah will perform my “Etiquette” for solo cello, of which the NY Times said “as the writing grows increasingly elaborate, a lyrical impulse stays at its heart.” The performance will mark the opening of an exhibit at the Bronfman Center showcasing my music, together with the work of several other artists with ties to NYC. The show will be open from February 17th through March 22nd. The performance will take place at 7 pm the night of the exhibition opening (which begins at 6). This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
